VCTA Fall/Winter Events

FALL/WINTER/SPRING EVENTS, 2022 – 2023

All are welcome to our hikes. If you RSVP to anitanoone@gmail.com at least one day before the event, you will receive notice of any last minute changes. Hikes are subject to cancellation if there is a heat warning in effect, if there is steady rain one hour before, or if there has been substantial rain during the 24 hour period before the hike. Dogs are not allowed on hikes unless otherwise specified.

Friday, Oct. 28 and Sat., Oct. 29 – Camping and Hiking on Palomar Mountain

Valley Center Trails is camping at a group camping site in Palomar State Park!

Preference goes to members and the camping is limited to 25 people

Even if you don’t camp, you can hike with us Saturday morning at 8:30 – meet at the Doane Lake parking area.

Four miles of easy, flat terrain

 

Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023 – The Resolution Walk

Self-Guided, all day long on the Heritage Trail – walkers, bikes, dogs, horses welcome!

Friday, Jan 20, East Santa Ysabel Preserve, 8 am

Saturday, Feb 10, Daley Ranch, 8 am

Saturday, June 3, 2023 – National Trails Day
