SDG&E’s La Honda and Lincoln Replacement Project – Pipeline Safety Enhancement Plan (PSEP)

SDG&E crews are making progress on the La Honda and Lincoln Replacement Project in the City of Escondido and County of San Diego. Since starting the project in late December, crews have completed approximately 25 percent of the project.

The natural gas pipeline safety project will install 1.6 miles of new state-of-the-art pipe near Daley Ranch along La Honda Drive, east on El Norte Parkway, and end along Lincoln Avenue at Midway Drive.

Over the next several weeks to several months, construction crews will be working along La Honda Drive. Construction work zones for pipe installation will typically be approximately 1,000 feet long.  On an average day, about 120 feet of pipe will be installed in the trench.


This notice is to inform you that reduced traffic lanes may be necessary along La Honda Drive between Dublin Lane and Vintage Place:

Time Frame:   February 18 – March 18        

Hours:             7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
