Friends of Daley Ranch

September 17th, 2014

As this crazy world of ours spins throughout the heavens on it’s merry way to destruction by none other than man himself, the group known as the Friends of Daley Ranch, those heroes of Mother Nature herself, met at the home of Dick Althouse to make further plans on how to save our little portion of the planet upon which we dwell and help our fellow man appreciate that which was given to us to preserve for future generations.

I.          Present were: Dick Althouse, Fred Woods, Jerry Harmon, Mike Whalen, Rick Paul, and Jim Schafer. With bulging tummies, we set to work.

IV.       Mike Whalen will get some needed plant Guides from Dick’s basement.

V.        There was some discussion about raising Bldg. #2., our next project in the Restoration Process and whether or not we wanted to just lift the building and put concrete piers under it, or move the building approx.. two feet to the East and secure it to be in line with the other buildings when we finish the restoration. No consensus was reached.
