Walnut Grove Park, San Marcos

Due to weather this weekend, we’re rescheduling the Feb. 25 hike to April 8.

Bring the kids for an easygoing fun walk/stroll/kid bike ride at Walnut Grove Park. The trail surrounds a park with play structures and picnic areas. One mile per lap. Interrupting the hike to play at the playground is allowed!  Leashed dogs ok. Kids not required.  The trail loops around the park, so the length of the walk/hike can be adjusted to meet your family’s needs.  Bring water, snacks, and sun protection for the whole family.  Meet at the Walnut Grove parking lot near the equestrian staging area.  There is free parking.
