Daley Ranch offers some of the best hiking opportunities in San Diego County. With trails for beginning, intermediate, and advanced hikers, exploring Daley Ranch on foot is family-friendly, and a great way to get some exercise and experience the natural beauty of Southern California.

Always remember to wear appropriate clothing, and bring sunscreen and plenty of water. Hats are recommended.
Watch out for horseback riders and mountain bikers at Daley Ranch. Hikers are supposed to yield to any horses encountered on the trail. Bikers are supposed to yield to hikers, but some bikers fly down trails without warning at unsafe speeds — stay alert!
Dogs on leash are welcome at Daley Ranch (but don’t forget to bring some water for them as well).
